When Emily and her sister move to their grandfather’s farm, Emily dreams of having a horse of her own. But she has to do math problems every day during the summer if she wants a horse. She hates math. To make matters worse, Grandpa doesn’t approve of Emily’s dream horse. Can she deal with her bullying older sister and try to figure out what’s happened to her mother, who’s gone missing in Afghanistan?
